Unified Bowling

Special Olympics Unified Sports combines people with and without intellectual disabilities on sports teams for training and competition. People with intellectual disabilities are classified as Special Olympics Athletes, and people without intellectual disabilities are classified as Unified Partners. Unified Bowling pairs a Special Olympics Athlete with a Unified Partner. Teams will compete against other Unified pairs.

EVENTS

 

Unified Bowling season begins in August and trains for 8 weeks before state competition in October and Spring Games in April.

 

Unified Doubles (1 Special Olympics Athletes & 1 Unified Partner)

Unified Teams (4 people compete together, 2 Special Olympics Athletes & 2 Unified Partners)
