State Games

States Games are competitions held annually, bringing together athletes from across the state. To compete at the highest level of competition required at State Games, athletes must qualify based on their score or participation at regional competitions. Our athletes train for their sports for 8 weeks leading up to each State Competition.


WINTER GAMES

 

In late January, athletes from Nebraska travel to Missouri to compete in Cross Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, and Alpine Skiing. In mid December,  athletes compete in Omaha for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons in Powerlifting and E-Sports. Winter Games is one of four annual championships held at the conclusion of each sport season. 


SPRING GAMES

 

Spring Games is held annually in Lincoln, Nebraska in late March and attracts athletes from all over Nebraska to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons in Basketball and Bowling.                

 


SUMMER GAMES

 

Summer Games is held annually in Omaha, Nebraska in late May and attracts more than 1,000 athletes from across Nebraska who compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons. The Games features our summer sports —Gymnastics, Swimming, Track & Field, and Volleyball


FALL GAMES

 

Fall Games is held annually in Lincoln, Nebraska and attracts athletes from all over Nebraska to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons in Bocce, Soccer, Softball, and Tennis

 


EQUESTRIAN

 

State Equestrian is held annually in Central City, Nebraska in September. Athletes from all over the state of Nebraska compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons. 

 


FLAG FOOTBALL

 

State Flag Football is held annually in York, Nebraska in October. Athletes from all over the state of Nebraska compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons.

 


UNIFIED BOWLING

 

State Unified Bowling takes place annually in October, either in Kearney or Omaha based on region. Unified pairs and teams compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons.
