Lincoln’s Haley Waggoner, who has been involved with Special Olympics for more than 15 years, will participate in the first Athlete Collection Event in Salt Lake City on Wednesday.

Waggoner and Special Olympic athletes from all over the world will be joined by celebrities, creators and professional athletes from Utah teams at America First Field to create a new collection of merchandise.

Haley Waggoner has participated in tennis, soccer and golf. Her talent and hard work has taken her to the national stage, competing at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando.

The goal of the collaboration is to authentically reflect the athletes’ journeys, celebrating their passion, resilience and achievements on a global stage.

This event builds on the success of SOI's viral "Yeah, I Am Special" campaign from 2023 which resulted in high sales and widespread celebrity support.
