UnitedHealthcare Gives $10,000 to Support Health Athletes Program

WHAT: UnitedHealthcare will present Special Olympics Nebraska with $10,000 to support its “Healthy Athletes” program designed to help Special Olympics athletes improve their health and fitness.

A check will be presented on Friday, Jan. 29, at 8:30 a.m. by Kathy Mallatt, CEO, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska, at Special Olympics Nebraska, 9427 F Street, Omaha. The funds will be used to support Healthy Athletes’ goal to improve each athlete’s ability to train and compete in Special Olympics as well as in life.

This support is part of UnitedHealthcare’s ongoing effort to identify and support organizations in Nebraska that help families, young parents and children live healthier lives.
