Unified Rivalry Games

What We Do

A Unified Sports Rivalry game is a Special Olympics Unified Sports game where each team represents one rival team. The two teams are comprised of students with and without intellectual disabilities from from the two 'rival' schools. These games are typically hosted annually, alternating between the two schools for the host of the game. Students from both schools get a break from classes to cheer on their team, and the bleachers are always full. These games offer students who take part a chance be part of a team and to experience the hype of competing in front of their entire school.
