Polar Plunge 2012 Just keep thinking cold thoughts.
It’s time to add your name to the list of plungers during this year’s Polar Plunge. This downright frigid event welcomes participants to collect pledges from family and friends for bravely jumping into icy waters in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Auburn, and Scottsbluff/Gering. As an added bonus, the first 500 people to sign up get a limited edition Special Olympics t-shirt, which might help warm you up. All of the proceeds from this event help support the more than 4,000 intellectually disabled athletes who are a part of the Special Olympics Nebraska.
